Such a Big Boy

Aiden has been growing up rapidly before our eyes...and I (Mommy)thinks it is because he knows that there is another baby coming. Last week I decided I wanted to see how long it would take him to go to sleep (cry himself to sleep) without any rocking or coaxing. Well I put him in the crib after telling him night night and giving him a kiss. He never cried a tear...he talked in the crib for about 10 minutes then just went to sleep!!!! I though well maybe that was a once in a lifetime thing...so I tried it each night since and he has done the same!!!!! WHAAAATTTT!!!! When did my baby grow up into a big boy?????

So last night Paul decided to take a picture of him sleeping. IT was funny because he stands up in the crib until he is ready to lay down and for the first time he was holding onto his blanket and his sippy cup. So when he laid down he still have the blanket in one hand and sippy cup in the other. He is so funny. But here is the shot below...I just want to kiss all over those cheeks!!!!

Potty Time!!!!!!

It is about that time...time to begin the potty training process with our Prince Aiden. With Noah on the way I (Mommy)HOPE that we will not have two babies in diapers for TOO long. So we went out on Satuday and bought Aiden a potty. I had looked around and knowing that Aiden is obsessed with toilet paper and with flushing the toilet, I decided on the Cheer for Me Potty which runs for an average of about $30.

This morning I came upstairs to find Aiden and Daddy watching the cutest Elmo "Potty Time" video. If you dont know already Aiden LOVES Elmo!!!! So here is the video...we will probably be singing this to Aiden as we try to get him to go potty in the potty!!!! Click Here to view the video.

I have an announcement!!!!!

If you can read any of my shirt you will see that we are having a NEW BABY!!!!!! You read that right...I am going to be a BIG BROTHER!!!!! And I promise to be the bestest big brother EVER!!!!

Mommy and Daddy found out about the baby in September but kept it a secret until Thanksgiving when they announced it...via my t-shirt!! It was fun!!! I don't really care if it is a little sister or brother, but we went to the doctor with Mommy on Wednesday and found out that I am going to be getting a Little BROTHER this May!!!! Boy do I have lots to teach him!!! I am so excited!!!! Oh and Mommy and Daddy decided to name him Noah Oliver Douglass (Oliver after my Great Grandpa Mann).

One thing I REALLY like to do is to kiss Mommy's belly. I know there is something growing in there (because it is getting bigger and bigger) and she said it was called a baby. So when we are sitting together I lift up her shirt to give the baby a kiss...sometimes I blow raspberry's on the belly too...I think it is funny!!!

Daddy will be setting up Noah's blog this weekend so I will be sure to post what the site is so you can keep up with mommy's growing belly and Noah's progress!!!!!

Merry Christmas!!!!

This Christmas was GREAT!!!! It was busy...but it was GREAT!!!! Me and Mommy were sick most of the week but we were able to get well enough to enjoy Christmas Day. I woke up that morning, Mommy took me downstairs and there were pretty boxes under the tree!!!! Who put those there????
I was shocked and excited all at the same time!!!!!! Mommy and Daddy said that Santa had came and left me some gifts and that it was time to open them!!! Well you don't have to tell me twice!!!

So after we finish opening gifts at home we packed up the car to go to Granna's house for the rest of the day!!! We have breakfast, then open more gifts, then Mommy cooks dinner!!!! While Mommy cooks and talks to Granna and Cousin Jaureen I play with Cousin Jayson and his sister Kailaih. Dinner was yummy!!!!! And we had sooo much fun. After Mommy and Daddy helped clean the table off we hopped in the car and drove to Murfreesboro for a few days of fun and relaxation with Lubby, Bob-Bob, Uncle Travis, Auntie Lauren, TT, Cousin Adriennne, Cousin Rick and Auntie Lauren's parents. It was lots of fun. Mommy will have to put those pictures up later once Uncle Travis sends them to her. I kinda broke her camera so she could not take any pictures :(.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!!

Today Daddy took the tree and decorations out the attic and we decked the halls!!!! It was super fun!!! I helped Daddy take the tree out the box and put it up. Then I helped...well more like played...put the ornaments up. Boy can those things bounce!!! Uncle Travis and Auntie Lauren were over to help too. Mommy helped as much as she could...Daddy was in full control of tree decorating...he seems to really get into it...lol.

Word Play!!!!

Last month I added some new words to my vocabulary...I am 14 months now. I weigh 26lbs and am 34inches long...yes you read that right. Oh and I wear a size 6.5-7 shoe!!!! Mommy says that when I get older I am going to have to get a sponsor to afford the food bills...lol.

So I can now say the following words VERY WELL:

Those are words that I said the most this month...and the ones I say the best. I am really interested in my books now...especially one that my Great Grandpa Mann got me for my birthday about babies from around the world. It is my favorite.

Lots going on this month. Mommy and I may go to Minnesota to stay with Auntie Talia and Garyson for a couple days and then Lubby, Bob-Bob, TT, GreatGran and Great Grandpa are coming for Thanksgiving!!!! None of them have seen me walk (now jog) yet so it should be fun showing off!!! AND I get yummy food for Thanksgiving!!!!
