6 month doctor appointment

This morning Mommy and Daddy took me to the doctor for my 6 month check up. I am 19 pounds and 3 ounces in weight and a staggering 28.5 inches long. Dr. Doyles-Little told Mommy and Daddy that my length is off the charts for my age but that my weight is near the 90th percentile!!!

This month something new happened that I was not too happy about. At the end of the appointment the nurse stuck me in the leg and injected me with something that didn't feel too great. But Mommy was there and gave me kisses to make the sting go away...I hope that was not something that I was going to keep getting but for some reason I think that this will be a reoccurring incident!!!!

What is up next? This weekend Auntie Kimmy will be in town to celebrate her birthday...which is tomorrow. Happy Birthday Auntie Kimmy!!! GUT gets here tomorrow night...he and Auntie Lauren are going to babysit me on Saturday so Mommy and Daddy can go out with Granna to dinner. Mommy is really excited about her birthday coming up on March 13th...she told me that I am going to stay with Granna overnight for the first time...now we will see if that really happens because we all know that Mommy and Daddy can't be without me for long..he he he.

I can crawl ya'll!!!!!!!!

Tonight I was at Auntie Lauren's house with Mommy. We had a long day shopping at Ikea and Target. Lately I have been scooting around a lot but not really officially crawling yet because I have not been able to figure out how to move my arms and legs in sync. Well Mommy put me on the floor at Auntie Lauren's and I FINALLY got it. Now I can say that I am crawling!!!!

Mommy and Auntie Lauren were so excited!!! So I got excited and just kept going!!! Now I can get to Mommy's laptop at lightening speed!!!!

I have teeth!!!!

Lately I have been a little fussy...my gum's have been killing me!!!!! Today Mommy put her finger in mouth to do her normal gum massage to make me feel better and she got all excited...I didn't know that these new sharp things in my mouth were something to be happy about...because I have not been happy about all the discomfort. So it seems that these sharp new things are called teeth...and I have two of them on the bottom!!! Mommy is really excited about it...she won't be excited when I bite her for the first time...lol. I am also sitting up like a big boy now...like all the time. Sometimes I loose my balance because I try and do too much, but I am getting to be a pro. Daddy and Mommy also moved me out of the sink tub to the big tub in my bathroom. It is really cool.

What's next? Lubby, Bob-Bob, and GUT are coming in town tonight...can't wait to see them. Then tomorrow Mommy and I are going to give Daddy his Valentine's surprise then go over Lauren's house to hang out for a big Valentine celebration with Lubby, Bob-Bob, GUT, Lauren, Aunt Stick, Granna, Pop-Pop, Mommy and Daddy...it should be loads of fun. I am sure that Daddy will post pictures from the party soon. So until next time...

First Official Word

This is Mommy and I did a post a while back saying that Aiden could say hi, and Daddy said that until he can say it on command he would not count it as his first word. Well we now have PROOF that he can say Hi!!!!! And what is even sweeter is that twice now he has woken up from his nap, turned to me and as clear as day said Hi!!!!! It melts my heart, and when I look at him and say Hi back he smile so big...he knows that I recognize what he said. How amazing is Aiden...first word at 5 months!!!! Stay tuned for Daddy's video evidence of him saying Hi while I ws out of town this past weekend...no denying it now!!!!

Big Boy

Mommy and I were out and about today and when we went to the grocery store she decided to put me in the cart rather than carry me on her...guess I am getting too heavy. I liked sitting in the cart...she had this thing in it that was really soft and that strapped me in. But she needs to get me a few toys to attach to it or I am going to try and play with the food.
