Milestones!!!!

Good Morning Aiden followers!!!! Aiden has been growing leaps and bounds!!! His first birthday is next Saturday and it is going to be a day to remember. A lot of our family and friends are coming in town to celebrate this momentous occasion and we are very excited about it. It is going to be a busy week, but I am hoping that Daddy (Paul) will post the pictures of the BEAUTIFUL birthday invitations that Kimmy made sometime this weekend.

Aiden has a new tooth!!! He now has 4 on top and 4 on the bottom and they are just too cute for words to see when he smiles. He also drank out of a straw for the first time on Wednesday. I just put the straw to his mouth and he drank!!!! He is so smart!!! lol (don't all Mommy's say that about their children?) He also has been saying a few new words...including my first name. Not too happy about the fact that he calls me by my first name more often than Mommy, but we are working on that. He says stop now...which is so cute.

Aiden also decided this week that he wanted to take his diaper off. He has been trying to do it for a while but he succeeded this week. He is very fascinated with his little "pee-pee" (as I call it) and enjoys discovering it anytime he is naked. I read that when your baby starts taking their diaper off that it is the first sign that they are ready to potty train!!!!! WHAT...I am soo not ready for that. He is not walking yet AND he is not even one!!!!!! Aiden is also a big helper when it comes to getting him dressed and undressed. He tries to lay his pants or shorts on the floor and put them on himself. It is so cute...he really wants to be a big boy!!!!

Yes, Aiden is STILL not walking yet but I have accepted that he will walk when he is ready. Hopefully when Natalia and Garyson come to visit for Labor Day, that Aiden will get walking motivation!!!!! Garyson is the one who motivated Aiden to begin to walk around furniture when he was 8 months old.

So the next post will be (hopefully) pictures of the invite and then the MANY pictures from the birthday party!!! So until then!!!
